New Moon in Capricorn

Alchemy, Integrity and Discernment are key words for this New Moon.

In the Earthy, Yin sign of Capricorn and with the energy of the ambitious Mer Goat, we’re being provided with an invitation to shift our awareness to being custodians of the land and implementing new ways of honouring and sharing Gaia’s resources. You may like to consider new ways you can contribute. In 2017 we were tempered. Now we have the opportunity to be Alchemist’s, turning lead to gold and what’s been, into something far more equitable.

Capricorn is ruled by Saturn (Satan) and associated with The Devil Tarot card. We see in the card the horned goat (or horned God) with the Devils tail, we see chains that can have us bound, as fear can do. Horns have been ever present in religious imagery as symbols of fertility and power. It was only when Christianity attributed horns to Satan as part of his iconography that horned gods became associated with evil in the Western world. The Devil evoked the church fuelled fear that a person could "lose their soul" to wild and passionate forces and sex was demonised as a way of controlling our power.

We now have the opportunity to remove the chains and to accept ourselves wholly and completely. Free to create anew.

I charged the Devil card using my Illuminati Tarot deck, asking for a message for this New Moon, and received 10 of Pentacles. Pentacles = Earth, so this couldn’t be greater confirmation of the need for sharing and providing for the entire Earth family. Yes, it will take work, but the rewards will be the results of our commitment. Any New Moon offers the energy for planting seeds, this one asks us to consider planting them literally! with an intention of a garden of Abundance for all.

Imagine your arms as branches, you may like to lift them as your conduit to the Heavens

You may like to imagine, or literally plant seeds for the new garden of Eden, which when tended to, and nurtured, will bear fruit and grow into your garden of abundance

Feel Gratitude for all that Earth provides

Feel the Love of our great Mother Earth

and then feel that Love amplify through you to all Beings
